During the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Pandemic), a Stay Home Order was issued. Believers’ Ministries had temporarily suspended its in-person worship services effective Sunday, March 22, 2020.
To help aid people to worship in their homes, Believers’ Ministries distributed weekly CDs and/or DVDs of sermon messages preached by Pastor, Elder Marilyn A. Dawkins. We also offered the opportunity to hear these messages via our website by clicking on the “Weekly Message” tab to hear the message in its entirety or by clicking on the “5 Minutes of Faith" tab to hear excerpts of the message. Also, in keeping with our outreach efforts, Believers’ Ministries offered dinners to members/associate members and individuals within the community free of charge.
After the Stay Home Order was lifted (with restrictions), Believers Ministries reopened for Church Services on Sunday, May 31, 2020, and implemented the following precaution and safety measures.
- Space was marked off in the sanctuary and children’s classroom with 6 ft distancing rule.
- Everything was wiped down and sanitized with disinfectant in the sanctuary and children’s classroom.
- Hand sanitizer was set out and everyone was instructed to use hand sanitizer as they entered the sanctuary.
- Everyone wore a face masks at all times.
- Extra masks were available for anyone needing a mask.
- Guidelines and signage was posted.
- Seats were assigned by individual person or by family groups.
To God Be the Glory!
